According to Recon Analytics (February 2026), only 35.8% of US workers who have Copilot available at work use it as their main AI tool.
It covers US workers only, and "main AI tool" is the measure, so treat it as a signal rather than a global number.

02A people problem
My view: AI adoption is a people problem, not a technology problem. The tool works. Habits, trust and what managers do on Tuesday decide the rest.
03Judgment stays with you
I think AI shortens the time it takes to reach a judgment, and the judgment stays yours.
04What agents in Copilot change
The talk also looks at agents in Copilot: what they do today and where they still stumble.

01Conferences
Building a programme and looking for a Copilot speaker for conferences? I'm built for the mixed room: IT people, business people and a few sceptics. It works as an AI keynote speaker for corporate events too, since adoption and judgment apply to any tool.
02Company events and all-hands
An AI speaker for company events has one job: get the whole company talking about the same thing on the same day. I keep it plain enough for someone who has never opened Copilot.
03Leadership offsites
A speaker for a leadership offsite gets a smaller room and tougher questions. If the session is for your leadership team alone, the closed executive briefing may fit better. If the theme is AI transformation in general rather than Copilot, there's an AI transformation lecture for managers.
Keynote, executive briefing or workshop
Ask what you want the room doing the day after. Thinking and talking about AI: that's a keynote. Opening Copilot and trying it: that's a hands-on Microsoft Copilot workshop, for up to 20 people. A closed session for leaders only is the executive briefing, and leaders who want practice should look at Copilot training for executives. Not sure? No, it's a talk for a large room, with no one opening Copilot on a laptop. For practice, I run a hands-on Microsoft Copilot workshop for up to 20 people.

A keynote is a 60 to 90 minute talk for a large, mixed room of up to 2,000 people, with no hands-on part. The executive briefing is a closed 90 minute session for a leadership team only.
